North wind 38
2 / 9 - score 49%
The North wind 38 is a 37.4ft masthead sloop designed by Bill Dixon/Angus Primrose and built in fiberglass by North Wind Yachts (ESP) between 1981 and 1990.
The North wind 38 is a moderate weight sailboat which is a very high performer. It is very stable / stiff and has a good righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a fast cruiser. The fuel capacity is originally small. There is a good water supply range.
Despite its low score, this boat is ranked in the top quarter. It seems difficult to do much better. It is one of the best possible tradeoffs for this request.
